Coral Hardening Experiment Expands and Simulates Environment, or CHEESE, is a rapid-growth biopolymer developed by eGlobe to introduce artificial coral into declining habitats. It hardens in the prescence of salt water to inhibit its growth; however, in dry air it spreads uncontrollably in a gooey spongiform state, leaching any remaining air from within developing pockets.

After the resolution of the Fill 'n' Kill incident on Station Rx01, World Government labeled it a controlled substance. The original research station houses the only known remaining samples. Currently, Rx01 is a Hostile Environment Training and Testing facility.
